Child nutrition mistakes parents make with sugary snacks instead of good foods

These days, it's almost as if parents are giving their children anything and everything without doing a research on what kind of food is good for a child at the age they're in. But how many schools even teach parenting.

We can play a fun game and find out which food is the worst for your kid's growing brain. I've seen kids eating colored sugar, candy, sugary snacks, all that as breakfast, first meal of the day and their glucose spikes ridiculously high.

But there's millet everywhere in the market and you can typically find it pretty cheaply depending on where you live. I also think some parents don't even know how to use millet with other foods like melon seed or groundnuts, so their child could be getting a thick, nutrient dense meal out of it.

Melon seeds and groundnuts or peanuts have high oil content, which helps the brain function well. So what if your kid doesn't get the right nutrition which you could have have gotten cheaper than the sugar filled snack and they grow up in college with less intelligence primarily because of the malnutrition, who's fault is it that then, when they try to learn so had but can't seem to understand things faster. I know a major factor is genetics but what we feed them when they're young plays a big role in all this.

I work with a single mother of three children and yesterday I escorted her to the market to buy groceries together. She made sure it was every single necessary thing the family would need for a healthy diet. She bought the veggies, didn't forget the okra.

One of the main reasons why I think veggie is good is also for the vitamins that they give your child's body. A colleague made a really ignorant statement, he said vegetables are for poor people and if you have money you'll eat meat l.

If you don't want to spend the money to feed your children good nutrition now, then you will have to spend good money at the pharmacy later on when your child has nutritional deficiencies.

I know that some families are better than others when it comes to feeding their children, but our country has enough food to provide for an army of growing toddlers. Nutrition is not important because of what is written in a book or somewhere on the internet, it is important because it's basic common sense. If you're using the millet or any other groceries, cleanliness is very important. All have to be well washed and give your children and the home the quality life they deserve no matter your bank account.
