As you all know I am a Nigerian and we Nigerians have so many dishes which we eat and cook also. This contest is aimed at teaching children and adult how to cook and share delicious meal and that is what I intend to do in this post. Yesterday was Saturday, for many people it could be their resting days while for some it is their most busiest day, but for me its one of my cooking days. Why I said its one of my Cooking days is because I have other cooking days also. As one of my cooking days I also prepared a lot of dishes yesterday but the dish that I want you guys to learn from me and I also enjoyed cooking is a famous African delicacy mostly eaten with garri or pounded yam and the name of the dish is called egusi soup.

Egusi soup is one of my favourite soup I enjoy when eating it, this soup can be prepared in different ways depending on the culture. Igbo's have their own way of preparing it while ikwere have another method of preparing it and so on. This soup is very delicious and satisfactory as it is always eaten with garri which makes the dish to be called garri and egusi soup. Egusi soup is generally accepted To all tribe and culture as all tribe and culture enjoy eating this food. Now I will be going in detail how I prepared my egusi soup, stay tuned as I continue.
