Greetings to everyone in this wonderful community

Have you ever tasted a food so delicious that you wanted more after eating that food, I think that we all have eaten that food and today I will be sharing with you guys the food I ate and I still asked for more and more because of its sweetness. My mom is a specialist in cooking this dish called atama soup, it is commonly cooked by the people akwa ibom state and my mom taught me the same way they cooked it because she comes from the place. Atama leaf is aromatic, even floral and it taste delicious in soup, there are different ways and technique in cooking atama soup, in this post I prepared my atama soup using the atama leaf and water leaf.

Atama is prevalent and mostly found in Akwa ibom and cross river state. It can be bought either fresh or dry both can still be used to cook the soup but most people prefer the fresh one because of the flavour its gives the soup. My first encounter with atama soup was when I was in akwa ibom state when i and my family went to visit our grand mother. I was astonished when I saw this soup as it seemed different from other soup I have ever come across and when they told me the name of the soup I was eager to taste it. When I had the chance to taste this delicacy I was amazed by its taste, not only that but the soup was filled with meat and fish joined by periwinkle and I couldn't just stop asking for more.
