Steemit Engagement Challenge S3-W1: My Dreams In Childhood By @husaini [#club100 and #burnsteem25]steemCreated with Sketch.

This week there is a contest that always bothers me with issues being developed, one of which is the issue developed by @steemkidss about My dreams in childhood. Although this issue looks very simple, this issue has a very high selling value, because one of the keys to a person's success still starts from the ideals and dreams that existed in childhood. Although many of us who achieve success are not in accordance with our ideals as a child.

What were the dreams you had in childhood for the future

Every child who is born certainly has goals or dreams that will be achieved in the future. The ideals created by the child depend on the conditions of the parents, family and the environment in which the child interacts. Every parent can not force his desire to be achieved by the child. However, parents can only support and direct the child to be better towards the ideals of the child.

As a child, I dreamed of becoming a soldier or police officer because being a soldier or police officer can protect the country and help many people in need. But when I was 11 years old, at that time I was still studying in 5th grade of elementary school, my parents asked and gave me direction on the goals I wanted to achieve.

So I answered that I wanted to be a soldier or a policeman. However, the response given by the parents was different from what I expected. My parents didn't forbid me from being a soldier or a policeman, but my parents told me a lot about the negative things about being a soldier or a policeman. Moreover, at that time our area of Aceh was one of the areas that was hit by a prolonged conflict, automatically the understanding given by parents to become soldiers or police officers was a negative understanding. Over time, what the parents said became the truth. This is evidenced by the atrocities committed by the army against the massacre of Tgk. Bantaqiah in 1999, the Arakundo tragedy (civil massacre) that occurred on February 3, 1999 in Idi Cut, Aceh. And the civilian massacre at the KKA intersection on May 3, 1999.

The ideals that I really wanted were crushed by time and circumstances that happened, I did not become a soldier or a policeman. However, my dream or dream when I was little was to become a doctor, but the circumstances and the family's economy did not support me, so becoming a doctor was also not the best choice. Over time, these ideals changed again to become a teacher or educator, so now I am an educator at the IAIN Lhokseumawe campus.

Who supported you in that dreams

The first people who supported me to achieve my dream of becoming what I am today as an educator were my parents, because without their support and guidance I would not have been able to achieve my goals. Then it is my sister who always encourages me to achieve my dreams with smiles and jokes that are given. The rest of my family has also been a support for me in achieving my dreams for which I cannot repay them.

My friends are also people who always support me in achieving my dreams, including @irawandedy who always directs me in everything in life. And lastly, my teachers, starting from when I was little, as a teenager until I was in university, without their support and direction, I would not have been able to achieve the dream I am today.

It is impossible for every child to become a doctor, teacher, businessman, soldier, policeman, astronaut or so on without the child's efforts and support from those closest to him and his environment. Likewise with me, who had ideals or dreams as a child which I achieved with effort, prayer and support from those closest to me.

Which one of those dreams have you achieved

There were many dreams that occurred to me when I was a child, some I could achieve, some I couldn't achieve. One of them that I can achieve is to become an educator, I am grateful that I can achieve this noble goal. This is still based on the perseverance and support of all parties.

Another goal that I can achieve is to help other people in everything, and more importantly, I can be the pride of my parents, I can help my younger siblings and other families. Because the real happiness is being able to see the people closest to us smile with the success we have achieved.

Apart from being an educator, I am also a writer. Because this is something that can motivate us in every way. We can't tell all our problems to our family and friends, but we can write them all down without feeling the burden that haunts us.

If you are still a kid, what are you doing to achieve your dreams,(strictly for kids who are still aspiring to achieve their dreams)

If time could still be replayed, there are many things I want to replay and achieve. I want to learn more about religious education, because the science that is very important in our lives is the science of religion. Moral and ethical education that we must inherit to our children comes from religious knowledge.

I also want to read more books, because what I've accomplished now I'm still in ignorance, I don't know anything compared to some people I meet right now, they are smarter than me in every way. While I still need to learn from them.

When with students in the teaching and learning process. When with fellow educators at the IAIN Lhokseumawe campus.

Which one did you not achieve, What do you think went wrong?

There is nothing wrong with what I have achieved now, nor what I have not achieved. What's wrong is that I can't be grateful for what I have now. Because the ideal is something from a dream that will be achieved or not, depending on the efforts, prayers and support from the closest people.

So nothing is impossible if we want to try to achieve it. And what I have not been able to achieve from the many dreams that exist is to pay for my parents to carry out the pilgrimage and provide a simple house for my small family at this time.

I hope this community continues to grow to be even better, I also hope that other friends can participate in this contest, such as @muhammadan, @win1, @hoesaid, @saifuddin73, @alol, @amri, @amryksr, @zainalbakri, and another friend. Because this contest is very interesting with a challenging topic.

Actually you are right that not all people's dreams come true. But if we want to make the dream come true then we have to work hard but some of your dreams are still unfulfilled. Very sad to know that. But I wish that your dreams come true very soon.

we can only pray and try. can't give up before fighting my friend..

Though some of your dreams wasn't achieved, it's good that everyone including your parents and your friends help you along way and you finally achieved your dreams of becoming an educator which is a dream come true. Congratulations for this achievement and may God continue to bless you

actually there is no effort and prayer that betrays the results. we're usually the ones who always betray dreams.
