A WEEKEND ROUTINE🙂💔
Saturdays are my reset button, honestly. Most of them anyway. Evenings are when I switch off from everything — lectures, assignments, group chat noise. I just step out and take a long stroll, nothing serious. At least an hour, sometimes more if my mind won’t shut up. No music, no rush, just me and my thoughts. It’s become a routine now, like clockwork every Saturday evening.
I use that walk to think about my life, my self, and how school has been treating me lately. Sometimes it’s just random stuff — why that test was hard, why I’m stressed about CGPA, if I’m even on the right track. Other times I’m just unpacking everything that happened during the week. The stroll gives me space to be real with myself, no distractions. By the time I’m done walking, I usually feel lighter, like I’ve sorted a few things in my head even if nothing outside has changed.
Today was one of those Saturdays too. Same route, same slow pace, same overthinking 😂 Just thinking and exploring, letting my mind wander. There’s something peaceful about walking when it’s quiet and the sky is turning orange. It reminds me that life isn’t only about rushing from one deadline to another. Sometimes you just need to pause, walk, and figure yourself out.
