The Diary Game: How I spent my day this last day of Eid-el-Fitr [20th March 2026]
Hello everyone, today is one of the most beautiful days ever, Muslims worldwide are celebrating Eid al-Fitr this 20th March, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan. I woke up this morning feeling so refreshed and energized, and the weather was friendly. I woke up, went to the kitchen, dished out some food, ate, and then lay down on my bed. I was surfing through the internet, checking the news, and from the news, I had to write a few articles, which I normally do for myself.
After doing that, I started cooking. When I was through with cooking, I took my bath and then made some calls to a friend, the one I visited yesterday. She let me know that it's okay to come around today, so I decided to go over to her workplace. I spent quality time there, talking about almost everything in the world that is interesting.
Around 2 p.m., the clouds became dark. Everywhere seemed dim, like it was already evening. Within about 15 minutes, there was the sound of thunder and lightning, and shortly after, it started raining with a heavy breeze. There were loud thunder claps.
After about one hour and 30 minutes, the rain stopped, and soon after, there was sunlight again. Before 4 o’clock, the road around the corner had already dried up.
I was still with my friend, and we kept talking. Some people were feeling cold, but when I asked her, she said she wasn’t feeling cold. I also wasn’t feeling cold, so we continued talking until around 5, when I decided to take my leave so I could go to the market and head back home before nightfall.
I left around 5:22pm, got home, dished out some food, and ate. After eating, I felt energized and brought out some of the foodstuffs I needed to prepare the soup I wanted. Then I decided to go to the market to buy the things that were not available. I went before nightfall and got a few items. I also stopped by the biggest shopping mall in my area, where I got some more things.
By the time I got back home, it was already dark. I quickly prepared a very delicious soup for myself. When I was done cooking, I ate some of it and then retired to my bed.
This is exactly how I spent my day today, and trust me, it was more interesting than I wrote.
Thank you very much for stopping by to read my post. I hope to see you on the next one.
