Useful Tips for the forth coming Election
Hello friends and famz thanks, welcome to my blog. I will be sharing with us in this post a very important and timely information for the forth coming election that is already upon us.
I know we are ready to go out on that day to vote in the candidate of your choice. The question is not even about PVC right now because am sure you've gotten that, or let me just assume you've gotten that.
My focus in this post is your conduct on that day...before during and after the election.

Our safety is very important even as we anticipate a "New Nigeria", we have to be very sensitive. So below are some useful tips you should take note of even as you go about your duty as an electorate.
- Avoid staying out late
We are in a very critical season, ensure you don't keep late at night. People are now using this opportunity to carry out evil plans. Ensure you do not fall victim of these wicked people. Ensure you finish early from wherever you're and get home early. When you get home, ensure your door is properly locked.
- Avoid argument about parties or candidates
Now is not the time to start engaging in any political argument as it is very risky. It is even more risky to do this when you're in your pollen station waiting to cast your vote. People are looking for the slightest provocation to carry out their wicked acts. Just bottle up in your mind the candidate of your choice party and candidate.
- Watch/Listen to the News
Do not be far from the news. Thank God we have several means of getting information today, social media has made it very easy to access information anywhere and everywhere. You could also tune in to your radio or switch on your television to follow up verified news about the election proceedings... don't forget, information is power.
- Avoid any political party Insignia:
Do well to avoid walking around or going to the pollen unit with any thing that shows you belong to one party i.e shirts, wrist band and all manner of materials carrying a party or candidate's name. Sometimes, these things indirectly campaign for the party or candidate which is very wrong, pollen unit is not a place for campaign moreso opposite party could take offense and then mess up the whole process.

- Go home after casting your vote
I know you want to see and hear the result is being announced right before you at your pollen station. It quite cool but to be sincere, it's safer to go home immediately after you have casted your vote. Hanging around might expose you to unforseen danger. Go home and follow up the result via the various media channels we have even in the comfort of your room.
- Stay away from violence
Violence in election has never solved a problem as far as I know, do not be part of those who want to go violent on that day. All we are clamouring for is a free, fair and credible election. Do not subscribe to thuggery on the D-Day also do well to avoid those who are bent on going violent.

- Move with people you know:
If you must move in group, do well to move with those that you know and not just some random individual, move with family and friends as it reduced the chances of you being attacked successfully.
In addition avoid carrying with you too much of cash so that you don't get rubbed. People are looking for the slightest opportunity to carry out their evil act.
- Jubilate and celebrate moderately
If it turns out to be that your preferred candidate win the election, do not over jubilate or celebrate because those whose candidate didn't make may direct their aggression at you and cause you harm. So do well to celebrate moderately and talk less about it.
I believe following these tips will reduce the chances of being exposed to danger to the bearest minimum. We are all anticipating a new Nigeria. Let us do well to stay safe so that we can all be part of the good that will spring forth from this birthing. I wish you all safety and don't forget to vote you conscience. Vote for your future , do not sell your vote!
