The Diary Game: Doing My Laundry And Getting A Surprise Gift From My Friend (22-12-2025)

Finally, our office has decided to go on Christmas break. I'm so excited about this. This mean that I don't have wake up early to prepare for work and I'll also have time to take my nap. I woke up today by 6 am to attend women's fellowship in church. When I returned by 9:30am, I sat to do my laundry.

Doing my laundry

I had lots of clothes to wash, my children's and mine. With my daughter's assistance, I finished the laundry in an hour and thirty minutes. After my laundry, I went to prepare breakfast. I had ripe plantain in the house, so I decided to make ripe plantain and sauce. My girls were in the kitchen assisting me along.

After eating, I went in to spend time with my children. We were seeing a movie on my phone, when my friends called thay they were coming to visit me. It's been a while I saw them and I was delighted they were coming. I was still in the kitchen to arrange what they will eat, when they arrived.

My favorite couple

We sat and chatted heartily. I got the biggest surprise when my friend told me that she was pregnant. I jumped up in excitement. They've been married for four years with only one child. I was really happy for them. After about three hours of chatting, they got ready to leave. Another surprise came when they gave me a bag of rice. "What did I really do to deserve all these?" I said aloud. I was overwhelmed with joy.

Christmas gift from my friend
