SEC17 WK:#1: Forgiveness unites family

Quite so much that we have to offer to this world and one of those people that will help us achieve those things are our families. In a bid to attend to a lot of things life throw to us, we might have issues with our families but the truth is we just need to make sure our Families are united together and one of the ways we can make sure our families are united togther is through forgiveness.

Alright today I will be dropping my own perspective about the forgiveness unite family contest. It is such a pity that a lot of families are suffering today because they have refused to forgive each other which should not be so. Well enough of the introduction and let me delve into the main topic for today actually.

People rather see those who forgive or who ask for forgiveness as weaklings. How do you view it

Well I can talk from experience. I have been in this shoe before where I am forced to forgive someone and after forgiving that person, I am now seen as the weak fellow among those people. The truth is our society is still yet to get the full meaning of what forgiviness means and that's why there is always this interpretation that whenever you forgive someone, you are seen as the weak fellow there which should not actually been seen so.

Whether you are the one forgiving or you are the one asking for forgiveness. I don't see it as a weakness but rather I see it as someone who is more mature and bold to take the right steo not thinking what others might think of. I didn't see them as been weakling, I see them as been strong to take the right decisions needed to be taken.

What effect does it have in your family.

Having this mindset that people who forgive or ask for forgiveness are not weak but strong have actually helped me a long way in the family to easily forgive my siblings when the offend me and not only my siblings but also my parents also. And not only that also, having this mindset has made it easy for me to ask for forgiveness whenever there is need to in the family.

By having this mindset, I can tell you that it has actually helped our families to live in harmony and peace much more than we can ever imagine of. Does it mean we will not step on each other toe in the family, of course we will but one of the things this things has really taught me is the act of not bene ashamed to ask of forgiveness when i am wrong. By doing so, peace has always reigned in our families.

Is there any scenario that took place in your family which brings out the beauty of this quality?

I think one of the scenarios I can actually point to that has happend and bring out this beauty was when I made a mistake that all the families were not in agreement of. What is the mistake? Actually this is how it goes, I discovered that I am always in need of money in school so there was a time I went to the loan app to borrow money. Actually my parent didn't like this at all but eventually at the end of the day, i asked for forgiveness and they forgave me. This bring out the beauty because it has seen me as a strong person to ask of forgiveness when I did something wrong.
