Pictures tell a thousand stories-Wk35
Hello Everyone
I Am @memamun 👳♀️ From #Bangladesh 🇧🇩
Greetings to you dear friends. I hope everyone is doing well, I am also well by the endless mercy of Allah, Alhamdulillah. Just like every week, this week dear @fortwis09 ma'am has organized a competition. This gives us the opportunity to participate. I pray from my heart for her. May Allah grant her the ability to live a healthy life, Ameen.
Bangladesh is our motherland, a country defined by rivers. Across every nook and cranny of this country, in various alleys and locations, there are many rivers. Additionally, there are canals, ponds, and streams in many parts of the country. I have presented this picture as a scene of the Karnaphuli River in Bangladesh.
Many boats float on this river, carrying numerous passengers, diverse people, and various items. The boatmen work with their oars, taking the passengers to their destinations, while some people are just roaming around. I wanted to capture the time around sunset, and the darkness that sets in afterward—it was truly wonderful
Just moments before evening, I went there with my beloved, and I thought that a boat ride at night would be the most beautiful. We got on the boat, and I went right to the front and stood there, enjoying the full view of the river—it was truly a wonderful moment.
There were no lights in the river itself; rather, the lights along the riverbank reflected on the water like a mirror. We know that water is a kind of mirror in which we can see our faces, and when light falls on it, it spreads beautifully. As I looked, I saw that the lights from the riverbank illuminated the old structures charmingly.
Various types of boats and launches operate on this river. Many of us know that there is a launch terminal in our Barishal city, which is a well-known place in Bangladesh. Through different launches, people can travel to Dhaka city and to the Dhaka launch terminal. From a distance, the launch terminal can be seen, and it is a boat terminal and is well lit here.
While I was enjoying this time, there were many other nights with me; they also had a lot of fun and told stories because the water was splashing everywhere and waves were coming due to the boats and launches around. Occasionally, there was a slight fear that if we ever sank in the waves, but this fear was also a wonderful moment.
Finally, I want to tell everyone that I am not a photographer, not a professional photographer. However, since my childhood, I had a habit of taking pictures even with a small mobile phone. And this has been a habit of mine since I was young, and I have liked it no matter what. So, photography has been a part of my list of passions, capturing a photograph late at night. Wishing everyone well, Allah Hafez.
