Week #14 drawing contest of a zebra by @michael-akpan

INTRODUCTION

Hello, my able steemian I hope you guys are all doing well, I thank God for everything at least for giving me the little chance to join this week drawing contest of a zebra, I am here once again to impress you guys with my drawing talent and skills, my drawing of a zebra is very technically so don't miss to have a look on it because I promise you that when you look at it very well you will learn a lot in my drawing this week and it will help you to improve your drawing skill.

Describe a Zebra

it has black fur with white stripes and predominantly white bellies. they belong to a horse family. Zebras feet are capped with a singular and hard hoof, which packs a punch when kicked at predators. it has a large ears with much of hair to protect dust from entering it. They are herbivorous, which feet on plants, Their diet is almost entirely made up of grasses, but they also eat leaves, bark, shrubs, and more.

What qualities does a Zebra have?

Zebras are highly social creatures, they are also calm, they make friends, they like walking in groups in other to protect each other, they are intelligence, they love to eat glasses, sometimes they will be found chewing always even the time there is no glass, the can be trained as domestic animals, zebra do not eat fresh.

Have you seen one before? If yes, where

Yes, but not physically, I use to saw them while watching wildlife program in television or in some other programs but I am still dreaming to visit them in zoo when I have enough time.

Are they important to man
Yes, zebra are very important to man, man can use zebra meat such as bush meat and can be sale to others and make a lot of profit. They can also raise as livestock animal and make a lot of money by selling them or by killing them and sell their body part. Their skin are also use to produce so many things like leather which can also sell by man to make a lot of incomes. And they can also be raised by man in a zoo to make Profit from people who visited it to have a look on it.

STEPS AND REQUIREMENTS USE IN SKETCHING MY ZEBRA

Requirements

A4 paper
pencil
Eraser

STEP 1
I started from sketch the head side with my pencil.

STEP 2
I then begin to sketch some body part and legs to it.

STEP 3
I added the remaining legs to make it complete 4 legs

STEP 4

I completed the body parts and put eyes and tail

STEP 5
I shaded my drawing to add beauty to it and finished it.

Then I took a selfie with my weekly drawing contest
