Write an overview of how technology has impacted the world as a whole
Firstly, let me define technology before I go into the main topic of discussion. Technology is the act of applying scientific knowledge or science to aid or ease human life. As we all know everything has a positive and a negative impact, just like in the case of technology.
Technology can help human beings positively or negatively depending on how and what you use these things for. The very common example of these technologies are the mobile phones and the internet, this very aspect of technology since it was created has been very dynamic in the world and people's life.
Both adults and children no longer find it difficult to get whatever they need, as far as they have the phone, data and internet connection, all they do is just sit at the comfort of their homes get their phone and search for what they need, they even place orders online, watch movies, chat with people around the world and with these; the children that have access to the phones are now exposed to different sites on the internet that would either affect them positively or negatively.

Positive
Help in Education: Technology has been very useful to Children which they can surf the web and get knowledge about any topic.
Competition Skills: All children like playing video games and when playing these games with friends and siblings they develop that competitive spirit towards the game and otherwise.
Agriculture: This is another aspect of life technology has helped improved on. Before people usually use suffer to plant and harvest but nowadays technology has changed things by implementing things like the harvesting machine, tractors, plough, harrows etc, to ease us of stress.
Negative
Health Problems: Due to prolong use of phones, children are suffering from the health problems like back pain, poor eyesight etc.
Social Relationship: children nowadays spend more time on social media they prefer to chat with their friends on social medias e.g, facebook, WhatsApp, twitter, instagram, etc rather than spending time with parents and family members.
Poor Academic Performance: Children are addicted to technologies now which they waste time on these things without thinking about their studies. This will result to poor academic performance.
Negative Impact on Character/laziness: children have been found lacking in their moral values. The internet has has really spoilt some kids. Instead of them to use the internet for educational needs they rather abuse it. Sometimes they become lazy to do house chores when there is a dish washer and a washing machine to take care of everything.
Negative Impact on Writing Skills: This really affects children because while chatting on social medias nobody cares about punctuation marks and Standard English meanwhile they use slangs and short codes and these the children will get used to which is the result of poor writing skills.
Exposure to negative site: it's a normal thing for you to browse the internet and see some ads. some of these ads might be negative, so when these children sees the ads pop up they will like to check it out which thereby drag them into negativity.
HOW WOULD YOU RATE THE IMPACT OF TECHNOLOGY IN KIDS LIFE? HIGHLY POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE? EXPLAIN
Well, in my opinion I would say that the impact of technology has more negative effect on kids than the positive effect. But it depends on how the kid uses his or her available technology. We adults can restrict the involvement of technology in children’s life, so by doing this we can curb the negative impacts.
CAN YOU CONTROL OVER THE EXPOSURE OF KIDS TO CERTAIN TECHNOLOGICAL PRODUCTS? HOW?
Yes! you can
By leading by Example, be Strict with your rules, move out TV sets from their rooms, limit the number of technology gadgets in the house, monitoring them from time to time, spend more time with them advising and talking with them.
CONCLUSION
Technology is a versatile and a valuable tool that helps human need academically and otherwise, if we use it in a controlled manner then it will help in sustainable growth, but if we misuse it then it will lead to a destructive growth.

In positive impacts you have mentioned education and in negative impacts you have mentioned poor academics. So the point that I understood is, it is extent of use that matters. If used for limited period for educational purposes that it is good otherwise it has negative impacts.
