Creative activities also bring happiness to a person and provide an opportunity to learn new skills. When we make something with our own hands, there is a distinct sense of comfort in it. Today I am sharing with you all another interesting Clay Art Craft of mine in which I have modeled a cute little cartoon girl with the help of colored clay.

This is a simple but creative activity that I had a lot of fun making. A cute little character is created in it using different colored clay.

Equipment used

To make this craft I used the following items:
Clay of different colors
Plastic knife or cutter
To create a small tool design
Plain white background
All of these items are easily found at a general stationery or craft store.

How to make

Step 1

First I made a round piece of skin color clay which later became the base of the character's face.

Step 2

I then added small rounded pieces to either side of the face to make the ears and the bottom neck shape.

Step 3

Then I attached the head to the body and started sculpting the clothes with red and yellow clay. I made a beautiful outfit which makes the character more charming.

Step 4

I then drew the legs and feet so that the character would appear to be standing with a full body.

Step 5

Then I made the arms and hands and carefully attached them to the body.

Step 6

After that I made curly hair with black clay which made the character more beautiful.

Step 7
Finally I completed the facial expressions by making eyes, eyebrows and lips and also made a yellow spoon-like object in one hand to make the character look more interesting.

Making this Clay Art was a really interesting experience for me. Creating a whole character from a small piece of clay takes creative thinking and patience. Each step is completed slowly and finally a beautiful result emerges.

Such crafts not only help us spend time positively but also improve our creativity, patience and manual dexterity.
