My experience in making beautiful cartoon characters out of clay

Today I want to partake with you all a innovational activity of mine in which I made a cute cartoon character applying colored clay. Clay art is a veritably engaging and innovative activity that both children and grown-ups can fluently learn. This activity not only increases creativity but also passes free time in a good way.

🧰 Equipment used

I used a few simple things to make this clay art:
Colored clay (especially black, purple and light yellow colors)
A clean and smooth surface
Small cutter or plastic tool
Fine stick or toothpick

Steps to make

First step

First I softened the black clay well and made the top part of the head i.e. the helmet.

Second step

I then made the face part of the light colored clay and carefully placed it under the black part to form the basic shape of the face.

The third step

Then I formed the eyes with white paint and placed them in the exact locale on the face. After that, the eyes were posted with the support of green color to form the character appear more fascinating.

Fourth step

I then made the character's hood and clothes out of purple clay. Gradually join these parts in sequence to form a complete body.

The last step

Finally I added small parts like hands and clothing lines. Thus my clay cartoon character is complete.

During this activity I got to learn a few important things:
Patience is very important in clay art.
Careful joining of small parts makes the work more beautiful.
Using different colors makes the character look more alive.
Clay art is a really great activity that is useful for both children and parents. Through this, children can improve their creativity.
