Introduction |

Whether it is a small or a big family, both families have their own advantages and disadvantages. While there are many people to help in a big family, there is something that lacks in a small family.
If we look at both the families in the present times, the disadvantages of a big family are a little more and the advantages of a small family are many. Therefore, a small family is becoming the choice of most people and this is my choice too.
I have seen the disadvantages of a big family very closely. My family is small, which includes my mother, father, two sisters and a brother, but my father's family was big. My grandmother had 10 children, 6 girls and 4 boys, in which my father was the youngest child. Being the youngest child, he got a lot of love and affection. Sometimes, excessive pampering is also not good for the health of children.

We have all heard the saying that a small family is a happy family. This phrase itself points out the biggest advantage of a small family and states that a small family is more preferred than a large family. Its good not only for our individualistic wants but also for the country.
Living in a small family is good because the average resource requirements of the family members are met and these requirements are fulfilled effectively. With fewer family members, such families have less expenses and more savings which stabilizes the financial expenses of the family.
A small family can take better care of education, health, and entertainment of their children as compared to a large family. Children of small families get better education by going to a good school and can enjoy festivals and other occasions to the fullest.
A small family is defined as a family consisting of parents and a maximum of two or three children. In simple terms, an ideal small family should consist of parents and two children.
| Small family celebrates happiness better |

Since a small family saves well, it celebrates happiness in a better way. A small family celebrates any festival or other occasion in a better way. On the other hand, a big family has some difficulty in celebrating the celebrations to the fullest because of the large number of members in it.
| Small family survives better |

A small family can manage household and outside things better. On the other hand, a large family has to skip picnics or outings due to lack of convenient transportation and other reasons. A small family can travel on bikes or small cars while a large family has to spend more on transportation to go out.
| Better standard of living |

The expenses in a small family are very less so they can spend well to maintain the standard of living of the family.
| Good education of children |

With fewer children, parents can save enough for the education of children. And they can make the best education arrangements for their children.

With fewer family members and less expenses, a small family can save well for the future. This savings is used in building their house, buying a car, or getting married, etc.
| Better health cover |

A small family has enough savings to spend on good healthcare for their family members. Whereas a large family has to cut down on healthcare due to their low savings.
| Happy family environment |

The last but not the least, looking at all the above reasons and many other reasons we can say that a small family is a happy family.
Conclusion |

Having a small family is good both for ourselves and our country. Big family is not bad but one must make sure that they will be able to take care nicely. Think and then decide .
