It Is Our 15 Years Wedding Anniversary Today, 8th December, 2022. Congratulations To us!♥️

The marriage journey is a wonderful one that is filled with joy and happiness. Marriage is the beginning of parenthood and I am glad to have joined this rank 15 years ago

The Joy of marriage and parenthood knows no bounds. It is something that started with much love. We both accepted each other to live in love and happiness.

That day during the wedding, we both took a vow to stay together, to love, deeply respect, in good times and in hard times. We all agreed but to be frank, I never fully understood what I went into.

Marriage is a school of its own and it is a school you learn while practicing. No matter the amount of counselling one receives before marriage, it never works until one starts to apply them.

You must formulate your own formula for your home because no two marriages are the same. You cannot apply what happens in one marriage to the other one. It doesn't work that way.

In my marriage, we have experienced both the good side and the hard side. It is not rosy always but it's worth all efforts.

We were alone for a year and 3 months before I conceived of my first child and daughter, @fortwis09. Then, I experienced the joy of motherhood. It was one of the happiest thing that happened to me in my marriage. We welcomed her with open arms and cared for her till the second child, my first son came who is @wizzyboy3. You can imagine the joy!

Then just 3 years ago, my niece, @madilyn02 joined us to make us 5 in the family and since then, we have been celebrating this marriage together. We became a family. We treat her like our own child and she quickly embraced us all.

To be frank, marriage is not without it's troubles. But when God is in a marriage, troubles of marriage will be few. It will be easier with God and that is when both parties try very hard to please God.

The Almighty God Jehovah outlined the principles of marriage that will make it last as long as death will do us part. One of the foremost principles is found in Luke 11:28

...happy are those hearing the word of God and keeping it!”

One of those words that we try to hear and apply is found in Colossians 3:12-14

...clothe yourselves with the tender affections of compassion, kindness, humility, mildness, and patience. 13 Continue putting up with one another and forgiving one another freely even if anyone has a cause for complaint against another. Just as Jehovah freely forgave you, you must also do the same. 14 But besides all these things, clothe yourselves with love, for it is a perfect bond of union.

With these words and more, we try to build our marriage and home. Even when there are differences, we try very hard. It is just like when two mounain climbers are at the opposite sides of the foot of a mountain. Each trying hard to get to the top. Getting to the top unites them together, not so? We try to apply Bible Principles at such times and before you realize it, we are united again in love and happiness.

Yes, we are still together and continuous and today mark our 15 years in marriage. Congratulations to us💃💃💃💃♥️♥️♥️♥️😍😍😍👏👏👏🌻🌻🌻🏵️🏵️🌸🌸🌸🌺🌺🌺🌷🌷🌷🌹🌹🌹💐💐💐🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉!

We are happy to celebrate it together today though without cakes due to a 'reason'.
