It was a wonderful Saturday when I visited StayFit group. A group that I started and left after I got a job in another city. Even though I have been visiting them sometimes, I never had a session with them. I travelled to that city due to the wedding of my friends and Christian friends which I will relate in another post.

My reason for also visiting is because my husband and I want to take our vehicle to our current city of residence and so he needed someone to accompany him. Also, there an upcoming event that my fitness instructors association is promoting and as a member, we are all expected to promote it, so I was able to collect entry ticked from the convener who was also my former coach so as to give to the members of stayfit. I went there on Friday and that afforded me the opportunity to sleep over. I told him that I will be joining StayFit for workout and he also agreed to join me.

I went there a bit late and saw footballers as usual because it is Saturday morning. The mini stadium is usually filled every Saturday morning. I also met StayFit group as their current coach, @kidi40 was already taking them on some stretches.

After the stretches, I took over. I asked for a Tabata music to make it more fun. Honestly, Tabata is very inspiring, helping participants to remain active as they want to meetup with the timer.

I began with a combination of punches which is done twice of each hand, then a jump squat and a clap. We did that till the 8 rounds of the tabata music ended wich was 20 seconds each round and 10 seconds rest interval. You can imagine how energetic it was. But the food thing is that they all did it till the end.

Then came another routine, it was overhead hand raise and leg movement which is also in the video that I have attached. We also did it for the 8 rounds of the tabata music.

Next was step boards routines and others. My joy is that these programs were enjoyed and appreciated by all in attendance. It was my first time meeting some new members and seeing some new members after a long while. It was a happy reunion.

After my session, their current coach so took us on some stretch programs and then a meeting was convened by the acting chairman who gave me the audience to announce the upcoming program and then hand over the tickets to the coach. He is to distribute them and return the cash to me. Each ticket is a thousand naira and I gave out a total of 22 tickets.

They also had other meeting agendas which included their upcoming end of the year party arrangement and other stuffs. I happened to be there with them before leaving for the wedding I came for.
