The holy book says that it is better to stay in a house that it's roof is leaking than to live with a nagging woman. I will also like to apply it to a man who doesn't value a woman in a relationship. You really passed though a lot in his hands. Thankfully, that is in the past now and yes, forgiveness is the key to real happiness.
