Steemit Engagement Challenge S3-W1: My dreams in childhood by @numanfarooq7677

Welcome to my post in this beautiful community "Steemkids". This is my first post of this weekly engagement contest so am very passionated for this post because its based upon a very beautiful idea. In this post I will talk about my childhood dreams.

What were the dreams you had in childhood for the future.

As we was be children and we must know about the small and unexpected dreams which we see at that time. Some people make possible to achieve their dreams but most of the people don't fulfill their dreams in their whole life. This is because their thoughts and reality doesn't match each other. For example a dream to live at sun which is not possible. On the other hand the reality basic dreams can be achieved by some effort.

If I talk about my dreams for the future, than following are some dreams:

Become a Dentist

When I was 6 years old my tooth injured by a little accident and it ready to fall out from my jaws. So my father bring me to the dental Doctor near our city. This dental Doctor was the best in our whole area. The doctor behaved me politely as my friend and call me to lay down calmly. First I scared to see the tools of the doctor but then he said that I have a sweet medicine for you and you will not harm even a little. And said that "I have also a candy for you, please open your mouth... Aaaaa!!". After that he easily take my tooth out with no time.

I became very happy for this. After that time I love this profession a lot and its become my dream to become a well skill and a mercy Dentist.

Become a Pilot

Am not the only who saw dream to become a pilot and make fun in sky. When I was child I often see the sky for a long time for the research of airplane. Whenever I saw a airplane, I would suddenly call my cousins and show them. I used to do it for no reason and I enjoyed doing it like any child of that age would enjoy doing it.
Similarly, I often thought that I would grow up to be a pilot and fly my plane over my house and wave goodbye to my family. Children of my age also think that they will become pilots and do something like that.

Visit to Space

When I was child, I knew from my parents that NASA had sent astronods into space to do research on the moon. when I used to watch space in cartoons and movies, Galaxy and other similar planets seemed very cool to me. So that's what made me curious and I wishing that one day I would definitely go to the moon.And so this dream became my dream.

Who supported you in that dreams.

I consider myself very lucky to have very good and loving parents and siblings. At home, my mother supports me the most in everything I do. When I told my mother about my dream that I want to become a doctor, she was very happy and told my father. And promised me that one day I will definitely make you a doctor.

After passing the 12th standard exam, my mother admitted me to a private medical college. Am doing the degree BDS here. I will become an excellent doctor after four years. And God willing, I will serve the people by becoming an excellent doctor.

So, in the same way, my mother has the biggest hand in making my dream come true, after that my father has financially supported me a lot and will continue to do so inshallah.

Which one of those dreams have you achieved.

As I mentioned above, I was very passionate about becoming a dental doctor. This dream is almost achieved because Because I have taken admission in dental medical college. And now able to clean the teeth with a machine, extract the teeth and also know how to fill the broken tooth. I will become a good doctor after about three years and will be able to serve the public. Similarly, I feel very happy doing my work in my college because it is my passion or dream which I am accomplishing.

Which one did you not achieve, What do you think went wrong.

It was my dream to become a pilot which I could not fulfill. Because one of my legs and arm was broken in an accident. And I was disqualified for pilot. So this thing really disappointed me and then I decided to become a doctor. As you know the training of a pilot is similar to the training of an army officer and he has to do all the exercises that a soldier does. And because of my broken leg and arm, I couldn't do it anymore.

Once I even applied for a pilot and was called there for test. I completed the pilot test after which I was called for a medical test at another Step. I knew I would fail the medical test and it happened. It was because I had a broken arm and leg and I couldn't qualify for it. Similarly, I had to return disappointed, but I did not give up again.

When I came home, my mother said that life is too long and this work was not meant for you, you were created to do greater things than this, so don't give up and keep growing.

This sentence of my mother gave me a lot of courage and I applied to the medical college for Dental Doctor(BDS).
