Hello steamians, so i was working on a plain maroon colour senator for my customer, let's check how the process went before arriving at the finishing.

The tools i used was;
Scissors for cutting
Tape for measuring
Rular for straight ruling of lines for smooth cutting
Chalk for marking and drawing the lines for cutting
With my machine with threads for sewing

So i started with marking the marking the point of cutting by measuring based on the body measurement of the owner i took, i measured the shoulder and neck caved them out like seen in the picture, i then drop the shoulder by 2 and a half inches, then measured the arm hole 5inches, marked it out, then measured the chest and marked it, i made sure of adding 2 inches to each measurements for allowances incase it isn't fitted on the customer again after dinner years, he can loose and adjust it to be fitted. I then cut it according to the markings.
After cutting, i formed front pocket by putting colar gum to harden it and then bend the material according to the shape of the gum i put in the material.

So i wanted to craft something like an image on the pocket, so i used pen very lightly and craft out an image and it look exactly as seen in the picture above. I was very careful in drawing this to avoid doing mistake to have a neat result.

After crafting out, i used gold thread to sew it closely, carefully and accordingly to what i drew, as seen above, it is looking very neat because i didn't do mistake while sewing, i took my time and made sure i have a clean work.

After that, i put flap in the front part of the senator and then put pocket by the right hand side side 6 inches measured from the shoulder, then placed it on the front piece and the sewed it all round very tight .

Then after that, i joined the shoulder with the back and front together then trimmed the arm hole again to get the actual size, also trimmed the neck and them pipe it round with the material after forming the neck round. And then fixed the sleeves of the clothes and joined the sides from the hand down to the sides, and then added inside side pockets also known as invisible pockets or hausa pocket. I then gave it proper ironing after weaving.

This is how it looked after sewing, i gave it proper ironing and careful ironing, making sure it is well rlaxed and well pressed.

After ironing, i folded it properly and packaged it with packaging bag. And that's it the cloth was ready to be picked up by the customer.
Thank you guys.
