It's a wonderful contest and I love to share my participation in it.

Share with us one captivating picture about anything at all and tell us story.

The picture I want to share is one I took with my friend, a fresher😂just like me just as we are often called😊. We had just resumed school as 100 level students, full of excitement and curiosity about everything in school. One of the requirements for all new students was to go to the school clinic for a medical check-up in order to get a medical report.

So, my friend and I went. Actually, we had been there a few days before, and the clinic staff had told us to come back on a certain day, which was that day. We were expecting the process to go smoothly.

But when we got there, the workers were something else! The moment they saw us, they shouted, "What did you come here to do?" They weren’t actually angry, it was just their own funny, exaggerated way of being friendly. It really caught us off guard.

We explained politely, "We’re sorry, but you asked us to come today." But they just told us to come back the next day instead. To be honest, the whole situation was confusing, and hilarious.

As we stepped out of the school medical lab, myself and my friend couldn’t stop laughing. It was one of those random but funny moments that you don't forget easily. We laughed so hard that we had to take pictures to capture the memory.

And the picture I’m sharing with you is one of those, a genuine moment of laughter shared between two new students, fresh in school, navigating campus life one unexpected moment at a time.

What made that picture special?

What made that picture special wasn’t just how we looked or where we were, it was the story behind it. The way the clinic staff reacted when they saw us made the moment unforgettable.

They didn’t know why we were there and just started shouting in this funny, dramatic way, not out of anger, but in a way that actually made us laugh. Their reaction, their attitude, the whole unexpected scene, that’s what gave the picture its meaning.

The story behind the moment is what makes the picture truly special.

Was it any special event, or something that quickly caught your eye?

No, it wasn’t a special event, actually. But something definitely caught my eye, and that was the reaction of the staff at the medical lab clinic.

The way they responded when they saw us was just so unexpected and funny. That moment stood out more than anything else. So even though it wasn’t a planned or big event, their reaction made it memorable.

Was it taken by you or any professional photographer?

As you can all see, it’s actually a selfie. It wasn’t taken by any professional photographer. I was the one holding the camera, and my friend was standing behind me.

So yes, the picture was taken by me, not a professional, just a simple, fun moment we decided to capture ourselves.
