Hello steemians all over the globe, warmest greetings to you all🤗

It's @owulama from Nigeria and I'm delighted to join this wonderful contest organized by @fortwis09 in this noble community.

The picture I want to share today is one of the selected shots I took of my sister a few days ago.

She is never really been a fan of taking pictures. In fact, she always says she’s not photogenic and does not enjoy being in front of the camera. So, you can imagine my surprise when she came to me and asked if I could help her take some pictures for her birthday.

Her birthday is just around the corner, and I guess she wanted something nice to post or keep as a memory. That alone was such a shock to me, because normally, she would do anything to avoid the camera!

Now, here’s where it got funny. After she got dressed and came outside looking all cute and ready, she literally just stood there, clueless. She didn’t know how to pose or where to place her hands. She doesn’t take pictures often, so she had no go-to poses.

So I had to become her personal director and coach. I would show her a pose, go back to the camera, and then take the shot. But somehow, even when we did the exact same poses, hers always came out looking completely different from mine. I kept teasing her, saying, “Well, maybe it's because I’m photogenic, and you’re not!” We laughed a lot about it.

Honestly, the entire process was so hilarious and heartwarming. I laughed so hard that day just watching her struggle to follow my poses and directions. She was trying so hard to get it right, and the more she tried, the funnier it got. That whole day turned out to be such a beautiful and unforgettable memory, all thanks to how she carried herself during that mini photo session. She truly made my day without even trying.

The particular photo I’m sharing today was actually taken when she was not even aware. It was a completely candid moment, no pose, no pressure. And funny enough, it turned out to be one of my absolute favorites from the whole session. Sometimes, the unplanned moments often turns out to be the best ones!
