The Diary Game ( 17-04-26) : I worked on rice all day today.

I am starting by wishing all my Steemit friends good health. Alhamdulillah, by the infinite mercy of Allah, I am very well. The rice harvesting festival has started in our region at the beginning of the month of Boishakh. Yesterday, our rice fields were harvested and we cooked the rice all night. It takes a lot of time to cook the rice and I mostly cook the rice at night, but many people also cook it during the day. While I was cooking the rice, a neighbor's sister and my husband helped me cook the rice. Then, around 4 pm, the rice was finished cooking and I took a bath, freshened up, and rested until 8 am.

After half an hour, when the sun came up, we spread the rice on the roof of our second floor to dry in the sun. Then the rice drying process began. My mother-in-law is very sick, so I have to do the rice work responsibly. Anyway, I eat breakfast around 9:30 in the morning. If I have to wash the dried rice again and again, I dry it on the rice road until 3:30 in the afternoon. Since I am working on drying rice, my mother-in-law does the cooking for lunch. I only help my mother-in-law occasionally with cooking.

The rice is not completely dry, so I keep all the rice in one place and cover it with a straw. Then I take a bath in the afternoon, freshen up, eat lunch and sleep until evening. After evening, one of my neighbor's sisters brings me semai and curd. Because she saw that I worked hard all day, she came to feed me cold food from the fridge. Anyway, after that, I eat semai and curd and my husband also eats. I sat and chatted with my sister-in-law until 9 pm and after 9 pm I said goodbye to my sister-in-law and prepared to sleep. Because I had cooked the rice last night and had to dry it during the day, I couldn't sleep well, so I felt very tired.
