"Weekly Contest 48 || The Diary Game(29-11-25) : This year I worked with my aunt on rice.

I am starting by wishing all my Steemit friends good health. Alhamdulillah, by the infinite mercy of Allah, I am very well. Today, rice is being harvested at my grandmother's house. So today I decided to go to their house and help them. So I woke up early in the morning around six in the morning. Then I washed my hands and face, freshened up, cleaned the kitchen and cooked. Then I went to the roof and did some work there in the morning. Aunty brought me rasmalai and ice cream from the new house. My husband and I ate them. Then I went to my grandmother's house around ten in the morning.

When I went there, I saw that Aunty had let the rice dry in the sun. Then I helped Aunty in drying the rice. The rice is dried until three in the afternoon, then the rice is packed in sacks and kept at home. While doing all these works, the afternoon passed. Every year, two feet of rice comes to our region and the women of the house have to work on two feet of rice. I like working on the rice fields because I am the daughter of a farmer and everyone in my in-laws' family is engaged in agricultural work. I think it is a traditional Bengali job.

Everyone in my grandmother's house now lives in a new house and this house is locked. But we have many memories in this house. Since Uncle and Aunty have to come to this house every day and do various things, Aunty keeps some dry food to satisfy our hunger. I like the mud house very much. Anyway, after that, Aunty and I eat bananas and biscuits. Because we did not bring food for lunch and eating these satisfies our hunger. Aunty helps me in my work, so I try to help Aunty.

However, the cows are still kept here and Uncle comes and takes care of them. After finishing the rice work in the afternoon, Aunty and I feed the cows with water and food. Then we wash our hands and face and go home refreshed. After coming home, I take a shower, freshen up, and eat. Because I didn't eat lunch for work at noon, I eat lunch and rest.
