PixelCraft Art Contest – Week 1
First I click on link which is given in contest post. When I clicked a page appeared and I clicked on Free Mode. I scroll below more and click on working place. I zoom and start writing.

In this artwork, I used 276 pixels in total. I made little mistakes but eraser help me to fix this problem. Pixel art teaches discipline. I cannot do anything randomly. Every pixel has value. I used 8 colors in this art. The colours I used are black, light black, red, green, orange, yellow, gray and purple. Each colour has its own look. Black is used for strong letters, red gives power, green gives freshness, orange and yellow add brightness, gray helps in soft areas and purple is used for the border. I use purple colour border around my name to make it stand out. This also give look neat. This craft too much time. My total time spent on this artwork is 1 hour and 17 minutes. This time includes thinking, waiting and correcting mistakes.

The hardest part was cooldown system. After every 10 pixels, there is a cooldown of 1 minute. At first, I felt little frustrated. I wanted to continue fast but I had to wait. But later I understood purpose of this rule. It slows us down and forces us to think. During this cooldown time, I was planning my next pixels. I was checking alignment of letters like “A”, “N” and “Z” because these letters are tricky in pixel art. I removed some pixels and draw them again after thinking. This waiting time helped me improve quality of my work.

This was my first try. I made small mistakes in spacing and letter thickness but I fixed them slowly. Pixel art needs patience. This artwork look simple but there is a lot of thinking behind it. Every straight line and curve is made with care. I am not a professional artist but I really enjoyed this process.

PixelCraft helped me learn that art is not about speed, it is about focus. This contest gave me confidence to try something new. Even drawing a name can be creative if we do it with heart.

I am happy with my final result. This artwork represents my time, patience and effort. I enjoyed every part of this journey even waiting.

I hope you like my pixel art and the idea behind it. Thank you PixelCraft for this beautiful experience.

Nice entry! Your post tells a great personal story. The name design is clean with good color choices. For future contests, try adding more complex elements beyond text to increase artistic challenge.
