A diary game 3 January 2026 A new year a fresh start

Dear Diary 📝,
Today is January 3rd😊. I'm grateful because I'm alive, and not just alive – I feel fulfilled ending the year with my dreams being brought to reality 🎉. Now, a new year begins; to me, it marks a beginning of greater glory ✨.

This morning, when I woke up, I decided to do some laundry 🧺. Recently, I have been so engaged that I almost forgot I had to care for myself 😅. It took me like 3 hours to complete that because the heaps of clothes were something to write home about

🛍️. After doing my laundry, I took my bath and dressed up, looking so pleased 😊. 🧴 This is my hair. I'm grateful I combed it today 'coz I can't remember the last time I did that 😂.

I had my breakfast and walked for like 20 minutes 🚶‍♀️ to enable the food to digest before settling down for my studies 📚. Recently, I've always been on my books, not reading exactly, rather copying notes 📝. Coming for holidays, every student is expected to have a good rest, but mine is vice versa – each day, notes keep coming in, coupled with assignments that were already given before coming for holidays 😩. I spent 4 hours copying notes,

yet I'm not still through with it 🙈. I gave myself a break to continue the next day.

Recently, neighbours complained that I've been indoors too much 🏠, so I decided to visit one of them 👨‍👩‍👧. They say all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy 😴, so in order not to be a dull girl, I went out to play with my neighbour's daughter, a little girl of 9 years old 🧒.

The play made me feel good 😄. I had a serious conversation with the little girl; she said she wants to be a doctor when she grows up 🏥. I laughed to myself 🤣 because going through everyone's childhood, we've always wanted to be doctors, nurses, lawyers, etc., but we only grow up to become what our fate desires ✨.

Soon, night was drawing near 🌙, so I went back home 🏠 and rested 😴.
