IMPORTANT UPDATE: AGE ELIGIBILITY/LIMITATIONS ON KIDS ACCOUNTS IN STEEMKIDS COMMUNITY

AGE ELIGIBILITY IN STEEMKIDS COMMUNITY
Before now, we had allowed kids with the ages of 8 and 18 to create account and publish contents in the community. We understand that in most cases, there are kids who can write well even if they are below this age bracket if properly guided by their parents. But lately, we have come to see increase in kids account creation and in most cases, these kids can not publish the kind of posts that is made with their accounts.
There has been several cases where the parents tend to duplicate accounts by creating second accounts under the umbrella of kids account and thus earn from there. This is evidence in fact that most kids are not in club5050 let alone club75 and club100. It is saddening to note that these actions are affecting the community adversely and that is why going forward, we will not accept any accounts that we have discovered that is below the age of 13.
What this means is that, a child of 8 years and 12 can make publications but there will be evidences that he made it unlike where the child made the publication. We understand the publication made by a child and the one a parent made or guidiance. So going forward, only kids that are between 13 years and 18 can be given the label "verified kid" in steemkids community.
When it comes to the ones that are already created, we will monitor closely and this remove the label already given to some kid accounts which are obvious that those kids can not create such contents. So if you notice us removing the label of some verified kids account, it is because of this fact. We just hope you will understand.
PARENTS INTERFERENCE IN THE VERIFIED KIDS EARNINGS/WALLET
With the advent of club50, club75 and club100, we needed to check our verified kids wallets to see who are in the clubs. But to our dismay, most kids are not in any of the clubs at all. This put us on inquiry. We noticed that most kids accounts are used for transfers by the parents or caregivers. They regularly withdraw all the kids earnings or even use the kids account to gather assets. We are truly saddened by these actions. This reduced the Verified kids account who are in the clubs to only 25 and among the 25 are those who are not eligible to make publications due to their age of which we will soon remove the label we have given them.
Remember that our mission is to touch the lives of these kids through steem and thus help them to save for their future. Transferring those earnings at this early stage simply suggest that these accounts does not really belong to these kids.
With this act, the aim of belonging to this community is defeated. We want these kids to learn and save for their future that is why we are rewarding them. We want to catch them young but it seems the parents are taking advantage of these to farm us which we will no longer be tolerated. A kids account is supposed to be in at worst, club75 and not even club5050. If they can't be in club100 because most times they need to join in contest, which may require that they spend a little cash or they need to recharge their data. Apart from that, the kids are not supposed to transfer any earnings out of their wallet.
With these act, we will remove the label "verified kid" from any kid that is not in any of the clubs untill the kid is able to belong to any of the clubs and he or she is eligible to make publications in the community.
PARENTS DOUBLE ACCOUNT CREATION
We have noticed that in a bit to earn more, some parents just create a second account and earn from there. Such act is known as scamming because steemit inc. doesn't allow any user to have more than one account and thus we will not be the one to start it. We will not tolerate such here.
We are carrying out serious investigation on these accounts and we will mute anyone we suspect to have double account from now on.

This is sadden but i know the kids with adjust and for the labeling, please the administration should pardon the kids because most of them were not aware of criteria. I am proud to be part of this community because it is simply the best.
We as kids lover's will follow up the rules from Steemit team. Yes we really have our kids future at heart, but At the same time, abide by the rules. Thanks @steemkidss

The community was created for these kids and it's sad to see some parents trying to take advantage of that, that's why it's necessary to put up these measures so as the community will not lose its purpose

I will be joining my children in one of the clubs, since I want them to be able to have savings for their future and I know that it will be very useful for them when they grow up.
