Let’s do it… Do It Yourself 👉 Craft, Creativity, Drawing, Origami, DIY, Recycling and more | Week 92

Hello Steemit Community

I am very happy to once again participate in this lovely DIY contest for the New Year. This week I have tried to show my creativity through drawing. The pictures I have shared are of different stages of drawing a bird, and all the work is done by my own hands.

I have a special love for nature, especially birds inspire me a lot. Their freedom, simplicity and beauty compel me to pick up paper and pencil. Because of this hobby, I chose to draw a small bird this time.

Complete process of drawing

First I took a plain white paper and outlined the bird's head and beak in veritably light lines with a pencil. At this stand I only concentrated on shape, not appending detail.

In the coming step I drew the figure of the bird's body to observe the portions correct. Next I added the branch that the bird is setting on.

When the introductory delineation was done, I drew the legs and claws, which for me was the most exquisite part. I also created the shape of the bodies and gradationally added fine lines to them to form them appear more realistic.

In the coming step I started shadowing in the eye, beak and bodies. For the shading I used light and heavy pencil tension, which added depth and life to the delineation.

Eventually I also did some light shadowing on the branch to make the bird stand out.

When I was delighted that the sketch was complete, I inked and dated the final image.

My personal experience

I felt so comfortable while forming this sketch. I do not regard myself a professional artist, but I credit that with constant practice a person becomes better. The stylish thing about this competition is that trouble is accumulated further than skill.
DIY conditioning not only make us creative but also boost our assurance. I'll try to make further delineations inspired by nature in the future.

Eventually, I would like to thank the organizer of this beautiful competition and wish all the actors the stylish.
