Today I am here with another new and unique entry. This time I tried to make a Face Sketch, which was quite an interesting and learning experience for me. In this drawing I have particularly focused on the eyes, lips and facial structure.

🎨 My drawing idea

I have always wanted to be able to draw the human face well, especially the eyes as they are the most important part of any portrait. So this time I started with a simple face sketch.

Complete method of making

1️⃣ First Step:

First I took a blank paper and made an outline of the face with light lines. I made a slightly pointed shape at the top and thin at the bottom to balance the face.

I then created the initial shape of the hair covering the face on both sides. This started to make the shape of the drawing clearer.

2️⃣ second Step:

Then I sketched the eyes. First just drew the outline, then slowly added the eyelids and eyebrows. At this stage the drawing began to come to life.

3️⃣ third Step:

I then did detailing inside the eyes, such as pupils and light shading, to make the eyes look closer to reality.

4️⃣ fourth Step:

Now I made the lips. Shaped first, then gave them a soft and natural look with light shading.

Next I drew the nose, which was a bit difficult for me, but slowly refining the lines I got it done.

5️⃣Last Step:

Eventually I did some light shading on the whole face and added some detail to the hair to form the image feel full and beautiful.

While forming this sketch I realized that drawing a face is n't easy, particularly getting the position of the eyes and nose right is veritably important. But with steady practice we can improve our skills.

📌 Conclusion

If you also want to learn drawing, start with simple things and practice a little daily. Gradually you will feel yourself improving.
