SLC-S28/W1|| "making skatch and painting on sketch book "

Hello Friends,

Today I present my first entry in Steemit Challenge Season 28, Week 1 with great pleasure and interest. This week's topic is "Skatch aur Painting on Sketchbook". Since I love simple yet beautiful art from scratch, I decided to make a marker painting of a beautiful bird.

Today's Pick – Beautiful Bird (Marker Painting)

When I thought about what object to make, I came across a picture of a beautiful blue bird.
Her unique patterns, beautiful eyes, and vibrant colors appealed to me so much that I started making her right away.

The Material I used

Sketchbook

Black Marker (for outline)

Blueway marker

Glossary Blueway Marker

Purple Marker (for wings and feet)

Yellow Marker (for beak)

Pencil

Eraser

Ruler (if needed)

Beginning of sketching

First I made a complete outline sketch of the bird with light lines.

Made the head, beak, eye, wing pattern, and tail to balance like the original image.

I tried to make the lines very light so that there would be no problem when applying the marker.

Marker Painting Process

When the sketch was complete, I slowly began marker coloring:

  1. Head and eye

On the bird's head I left the white spaces blank and outlined the pattern with a black marker.
The shading around the eye gave the bird a lively look.

Body color

Color the beak with yellow marker so that the contrast is noticeable.

1000132043.jpg

Used sky blue marker on chest and stomach. Mix both dark blue and black colors on the wings to create a beautiful shadow.

For the feet I chose a purple marker which makes the image more appealing.

The final touch

Finally, I re-outlined the entire bird with black marker to give the whole drawing a clean and strong look.

The final look

My marker painting is not only simple but also very suitable for beginners. The brightness of the marker colors and clean lines made this bird even more beautiful.

I personally enjoy it because working with markers always feels smooth and tidy.

My Experiences

When I was doing marker painting, the biggest convenience was that the colors absorbed quickly and stayed clear, no smudges or water lines.
However, care should be taken not to rub the marker too much in one place again and again, otherwise the paper may get damaged.

Difficulties

I didn't have much trouble finding the tools.
Marker and sketchbook were already with me.

Point of creativity

I tried to keep the colors balanced and the beauty in the image remained. Especially the shading on the wings and tail of the bird gave it a very realistic look.
