There is no family that do not have misunderstanding in one way or the other. As we are all imperfect beings therefore we are prone to make mistakes. One thing is to acknowledge our wrongs and mistakes, another thing is to get forgiven from the people we have wronged or hurt. One thing to note is that, when we forgive we are doing ourselves a huge favour because the burden, resentment and hatred we won't feel again, if we practice true forgiveness. Best of luck to you
