All in one contest W32

in Steem Kids & Parentslast month

Hello guys, us-andrew here.
For this All in one contest, I decided to do an hatch art.
The technique used for the shading is called hatching.

I did this for a Facebook friend, I believe she was happy to see it.

Tools

Pena and A4 paper....

Steps

I started with a simple sketch of the head, the body and the clothing.
I've been doing pen art for sometime now, and I'm always careful. That's why you won't see eraser as on of my tools.

Here's a complete sketch of the whole drawing which I would shade. The facial features were put in place. Without mistakes.
The clothing too was sketched perfectly.
But no reference to compare.
I might source it out at the end of this post.

So, like I said, I'd do the shadings using hatching method with multiple strokes.
I first started the shading with the eyes, the the face which I them would extend to the background and clothing.

Now, after I did all the shadings,it came out perfect we'll.
So, I just had to do blending and then, detailing the piece.
This particular art did not take much of my time.

This artwork of yours is really beautiful and inspiring, especially the skill with which you have used the hatching technique is admirable. Well sketching so cleanly and accurately without an eraser shows your practice and control. Making drawing without eraser is difficult task for me. The balance of facial features is nice. The shading add depth and realism to the drawing. Overall the final result is very attractive. It reflects your creativity very well great job
