All In One Contest — W41

Hello fams , I'm here again with another trilling work of art.
A friend of mine asked to make an art of her. So I did. And I'll be using it for this contest.

As you all know, it's pen art as always.
So let's get to it.
I started with the glasses. I sketched out the glasses before every other part of the face.
Why I start with the glass is because I'm not using grid lines for scale, so the glasses would serve the purpose of letting me know where and how to align the facial features.

After sketching the glasses like I said, I was able to use it to place the facial features.
The eyes, lashes, nose , mouth , etc .
Then, I also sketched and shaded the hair a bit.

This was after I shaded the face, using the cross hatching technique,then blended it later.
I added more contrast and texture to the glass frame.

Here, I added shadows to places they needed to be, make some areas more deeper.
Then I made some more sketches on the neck and clothing as well.
While doing the shadings, I was cautious about not covering the areas where there should be light. I also darkened the areas that should be darkened.

After that, I outlined the edges, then, added finishing touches, write here name, them mine with a signature.
