DRAWING YOUR ATTENTION : Black Is Beautiful

Imagine being on a drawing marathon. I might try it sometime.

So, I drew another damsel to draw and catch your attention. It's a simple art, but it's twinkling...

Tools I used:
A pen, and A4 paper.

Steps	•

I started with a round drawing of the upper head, the the oval part which carries the chin.
This had to correspond with the head shape of the original image.

Just like I would always do, I added the facial features. The eyebrows first then the eyes, nose and mouth.
This were first drawn with a light sketch, because I'll have to shade them.
I was also careful to make sure that the positions align with that of the original image.
This help the portrait to look more of the reference Image.

I also did a sketch of the hair, body and clothing. I didn't want to put effort into detailing the hair, so I freestyled it.
As far as the face looks the same , then I'm okay.

I highlighted some edges of the sketches to make it more visible and also started shading.
I started with the eyebrow, the I shaded the eyes , then the left side of the face.
And I also did some light shading on the lips.

This is the final result after shading the face. You can even see the lips now, more detailed and shinny.
After shading the face completely, I move over to the hair.
This one was not hard. I already said before that I won't be adding details to the hair. Just freestyle..the main focus was the face.

Here you can see that I detailed and also shaded the clothing.
