Let's do it...Do It Yourself
Hello guys ....
Okay....today I'll be dropping my entry for the DIY contest hosted by @mesola...
This is it....
I've decided to give pencil art another chance😂
Tools |
|---|
My 2B pencil, sharpener and an eraser.
That's all
Steps |
|---|
Unlike my usual pen art, I roughly Sketched out the oval shape
of the head , depicting how it would look like.
After doing that, I used the eraser to take out extras...

After that, I did a faint sketch of the hair.
And i added the nose, mouth eyes and eyebrows .
Placing the mouth well really took my time.
But I did it at last.
I started shading the face for a start. The left side to be specific.
A normal 2B pencil cannot produce dark results as you've seen.
The trick is that I have to shade first, then use eraser to clean it.
When I shaded again, it produces a darker shade
People actual use other type of pencils to avoid the stress.

As You Can see, even at night, I was still on it.
By the his time I was already into the hair.
As I was done with the face.
The blending was done with my fingers as I was too lazy to go look for cotton wool or bud.
Here, I completed the shading of the hair..
This was the next day. I couldn't finish the drawing in one day so....
Here, I did the normal trick of cleaning and shading again.
The results were good.
After that, I added my username and of course the steemit hashtags
This is a picture of me with my art
Thanks for reading through, see you in my next post.
I'll like to invite

Wow, this pencil drawing is absolutely stunning. The way you shaped the facial features and blended the shadows shows real artistic skill and dedication. I love how natural and expressive the woman looks. This is a perfect example of why DIY art deserves appreciation and support on Steemit. Great job, truly impressive.
This is nice and amazing, pencil drawing is one of those drawings that makes me started painting images when I was in primary school,I like what you are doing though i tried to be perfect in this art work.
