It’s been a long while since we had a contest in this group. Special thanks to @ngoenyi and @steemkids for organizing this wonderful contest.

I totally agree with @ngoenyi when she said bad news sometimes tends to overwhelm us and bring us down to the point that we forget about the many good things that has happened to us.

I have come to learn that for one to actually maintain inner peace and Joy, u have to try as much as possible to overlook many of the bad things and times that life throws at us in other for us to keep going.

Joining steemit was a happy moment for me, but trying to keep in tact with the trend on steemit was a very difficult one. When I first joined steemit, I had my goals and I really wanted to achieve them.I had the goal of increasing my reputation and also creating quality contents. It was indeed a sad one for me when I kept posting and I was not getting any reward for my post. It was really frustrating and I felt like quitting. But then I went back to the post of people like @ngoenyi @ijelady @beautiefair and then I noticed that there where times they never got rewards for their quality post, but they never stopped, they never gave up. They kept pushing ahead. As a result of that, I did not stop as I was just at my stepping stone.

I decided to participate in a contest organized by @steemfoods which was about promoting indomie noodles. Lo and behold my post was rewarded with $11 I was super excited. It was indeed a goodnews to me as I never expected it. Apart from that,I keep winning in the contest and homework organized by @steemkids this is indeed a goodnews to me.

As long as we live, one thing we should never do is giving up, losing focus or tiring. I will keep steaming as I have seen it’s benefits.
