RE: SEC-S18/W2 | Lushka, you will be missed!
I never had a pet when I was little. My parents didn't want to burden us with pets, as we went away most weekends.
It was only now that I truly discovered what a four-footed child or children can do to a family.
It is true what they say: "Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened.”
My soul was awakened by these two children of ours.
Losing one of your children, especially in such a manner, was not easy. She is missed!
Thank you for this week's contest. I cannot wait to read all the posts. To read about all the love for animals.
I think I am going to shed a tear or two.
Friend @patjewell
It is an honor to know that you have had and have a love for animals, I did not have pets in my childhood either, but with my children we have lost our little dog Roy, it is now 6 years old and we always remember him, now a kitten has arrived to us in a condition of paraplegia and he has stolen our hearts, we love him, it is a pure feeling... I hope to see the entries and the carousel of emotions with this topic.
May your little kitten just bring you joy and happiness.

El super gato katire...:-)
It is an honor for us to be able to commemorate that sorrow. It is not our goal to see you sad, but we sincerely hope that you will be comforted and not be immersed in sorrow. Yes, it is certainly not easy for you to forget. But the wheel of life will continue to turn and you will pass through it and continue to walk through it. Beautiful days for you and your family in the next life, mom.
Thank you Zeus!
A big treat for you all the way from South Africa. 🦴
It’s great to share in our sad times too. Sorry shared is half sorrow. Thanks to the community for such a great thought. Pets are great part of our lives and the loss of one feels like the loss of a human. Sorry for your loss maam. Lushka is loved
Thank you! I hope to see your entry in this special contest this week. (•ิ‿•ิ)

We always had animals. My grandfather many, I grew up with dogs and there was a huge aquarium. Wehad gold hamsters, turtles, my rabbit didn't live long later I had dogs, cats, three aquaria, for many years a shelter (predatirs and troubled ones only). I had my birds of orey, my owl, ferrets, skunks, foxes, raccoondogs and more. Today it's the wolves, cat and the snake and since each one of them can get old these are the last pets I'll have.
We always took them along or had animals who were able to stay a few days alone. Now we no longer take them with us so one of us stays behind to babysit.
I can't tell how a life without animals would have been but I think a heart only changes if we feel something for a specific animal. If not we will never see them as family.
Een dikke knuffel voor jou. Ik ga het verlies van mijn zoon Baldr niet hier in deze community delen.
Een knuffel voor jou.
🍀💕
Al een maatje gevonden of?
Dankie vriendin! 'n Drukkie vir jou ook.
As you know, my grandpa had a farm. At least we had the opportunity to have animals around us. Although it was always the boys that were spoiled, the girls were with granny in the kitchen, baking and cooking. (•ิ‿•ิ)
I was only in the kitchen to lick the bowls. My grandmother woke up extra early to bake.
My grandfather let me help with the animals after he died my grandmother got rid of them.
Oh my word! You know just how to bring back memories. (•ิ‿•ิ)
You licked dough too 😁
Sshhhh! Don't say it so loud. (•ิ‿•ิ)
