In my opinion, knowing the animal world is indeed very exciting. In addition, I can find out what animals are on this earth, of course you are all certainly curious about the life of this living creature. But, did you know that there are animals that can live in two realms, you know. Yes, this type of animal is often called an amphibian animal. Where, these animals can live in water or in water.

Amphibians undergo a process of metamorphosis that changes shape at every phase of their life, from laying eggs to adulthood. Some amphibians breathe through the skin and others breathe through the lungs. The skin of this unique animal must be kept wet and kept moist in order to absorb oxygen.

Below I will summarize some Amphibian animals that you need to know, including the following:

1. Frog (Bufo sp)

Of course you are all familiar with this one frog, right? This animal which has the Latin name "Bufo sp" is one type of amphibian animal that you can find in rice fields, rivers, swamps, and other places.

This frog has nails and membranes on its feet that are used for swimming while living in water. The frog's long legs give it the ability to jump long distances. These amphibians also have dark colors, such as black and brown, and live on the ground. That is why, frogs are called amphibians. Not only that, frogs also have poisonous mucus on their rough skin. Therefore, you have to be careful when handling it.

2. Rice field frog (Rana sp).

This type of frog has a smaller body size compared to the frogs I have described above. We often encounter these amphibians in waterlogged rice fields. This frog has webbed feet and makes it very good at swimming.

The skin is very smooth and has an inconspicuous color. Although this frog has a smooth skin, the mucus produced is not as toxic as the "Bufo sp" frog. This frog breathes with gills when it is still a tadpole, but as an adult it uses an invertebrate respiratory system. This frog's favorite food is small insects that are on the edge of the rice field.

3. Tree Frog (Hyla sp).

Tree frogs have a smaller body size than field frogs and toads. The color of this tree frog is very striking and has a poisonous mucus. These amphibians use their protruding tongue to eat small insects.

This frog's legs have also been equipped with pads that can make it jump as far as possible from one tree to another. This tree frog is also an example of an animal that has complete metamorphosis.

4. Salamanders (Salamander sp).

Salamanders are known for their body shape that is similar to a lizard. We can find this amphibian Salamander in moist habitats, such as swamps. Similar to lizards, salamanders will break part of their bodies if they feel threatened.

This type of amphibian is a member of the ovoviviparous group of animals, where animals can give birth and also breastfeed. Salamanders also spend most of their time in the water.

5. Purple Frog (Nasikabatrachus sahyadrensis).

Purple frog or "Nasikabatrachus sahyadrensis" is an animal originating from India with a skin color that tends to be purple. This type of frog is known as an animal that likes to make noise as well as chickens. These amphibians also often spend their time sitting in the ground and will only come to the surface during the mating season.

So, those are some examples of amphibians that you need to know. Amphibians can also be one of the animals that you can keep. But you have to be careful in choosing it, because some types of amphibians have poisonous mucus.

That's all from my post this afternoon about Amphibians. Hopefully this post can be useful for all of us...
