I am starting by wishing all my Steemit friends good health. Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, I am very well. I will participate in a great challenge in the first week of the Engagement Challenge Season 33. Through this challenge, I will share with you about the Dippur Ghat place on the Turag River, one of the places in Gazipur. So let's get started.

1. Why did you choose this place for your video vlog, and what makes it special or unique?

One of the rivers in Gazipur is the Turag River. The Turag River flows through different places in Gazipur, but there is a ghat on the river at Dippur in Gazipur. The natural environment of Dipur Ghat next to the Turag River has a beautiful view. Gazipur is a busy city and some rural areas around it. Many tourists come to this Dwippur Ghat on the Turag River every day to spend time with the city people and enjoy the natural beauty a little away from the busy city. During the rainy season, the Turag River is flooded and looks beautiful. I have chosen this extraordinary place for the video blog. There are various types of small boats, small launches, and large launches for tourists to travel on the Turag River. Tourists mainly come here to travel on the river by boat, but tourists are fascinated by the view of the surrounding villages and the green natural scenery.

1. What are the main attractions, activities, or historical and cultural features of this place?

I have already said that the Dwippur Ghat has become important mainly because of the Turag River. Many people from the surrounding villages earn their living by fishing. Since it has now become a tourist ghat, various types of shops have been built around this ghat. In addition, now this place has developed into a tourist destination, so various fishermen are earning money by fishing as well as taking tourists on boats. Usually, boys fish by boat, so one of the historical and cultural aspects of this place is boating. That is, there are small and large boats here, which they have decorated and arranged, and tourists travel around and enjoy themselves. In addition, sand is extracted in this river.

Many fishermen catch fish all day long and bring them to this ghat in the afternoon to sell because many tourists buy fresh fish from the river here. The people here are hospitable and they treat tourists very well. If you want to travel here by small launch or big launch, you can travel on the Turag River for one hour for 50 taka per person, whose steam rate is 10.4 taka.

Apart from this, another historical place to visit on the Turag River is from Dipurhat to Bhanga Bridge. The river has become very large after crossing one of the rivers and there was a big bridge on the side of the river which has broken down, so it is called Bhanga Bridge. It takes about an hour to go from Dipur Ghat to Bhanga Bridge. During this time, you will cross by boat and you will be able to enjoy the cool breeze or natural environment.

1. How was your personal experience while visiting this place, and what did you enjoy the most?

It goes without saying that if you want to come to this ghat and take a boat ride on the Turag River, you must come during the rainy season. Because during the rainy season, the river is flooded with water and looks beautiful. But you must try not to rain on the day you come to visit here. Unfortunately, there was a lot of rain on the day we went.

The perfect place to visit the river with a small or big launch boat is to sit and enjoy it standing on the roof of the launch. When we went, it was raining heavily, so we couldn't stand or sit on the roof, so we spent our time sitting inside the boat.

However, during the rain, the nature of the river becomes a beautiful scene. So we enjoyed this scene very much. We mainly went here with our family, meaning this place is perfect for a tour with family and friends.

1. What advice or tips do you have for those who are planning to visit this place in the future?

When we visit a place, of course, that place is new to us or we can't take any tips with us, but today I will share some tips with you to visit this place.

First of all, to go to this place, you must take an auto rickshaw or your own vehicle from the National University. If you want to spend some time with your family or friends, then you must try to reserve small launches to travel on the river. Another important tip is that when you go on the river, you will spend more than an hour on the boat, so you must buy some food and especially water from the shop. This will work as a part of the fun for you.

The perfect time to travel on this river is after noon and in the afternoon, so always try to spend time here in the afternoon. The locals here are honest, so they do not make much trouble with boat rentals, you can travel here easily.
