The Diary Game: 🏠 A Productive Day of Chores, Family, and Progress: My 18.190 STEEM Power Up [26/12/2025]

Hello everyone!
It’s another beautiful day to be active on the blockchain. 26 December was quite busy for me, filled with the physical labor of maintaining a home and the joy of being surrounded by loved ones. I want to walk you through my day, step-by-step.

🧹 Morning Duty:

Keeping the Compound Clean
The day started with a broom in my hand. In my community, keeping the surroundings clean is a sign of a disciplined home. I spent some time sweeping the yard even the back yard, but the funny thing was that the dust was too much, coming directly to my nose, but I didn't bored because this is what the time gives. So I try to keep ever were clean to ensure everything was tidy before the sun got too high.

While working outside, I went to check on our livestock, I first checked the one that is still laying eggs, I saw that the flow was making a good progress, so I was so happy.
I was greeted by a wonderful sight—seven fresh eggs! It’s always rewarding to see the birds doing well; it means fresh, organic protein for the family, and also a hope of having another chicks in the future.

⚡ Kitchen Safety and Morning Prep

After the yard was clean, I moved to the kitchen area. Our cooking setup is unique; we have a manual lever switch mounted on the wall to control the heating element. I always have to be careful to switch it "ON" only when the pot is ready and "OFF" immediately after. I put on a large pot of water and got the kettle ready for our morning tea, before that all the necessary ingredients for the morning hot tea was ready, because this weather needs something hot. Managing the kitchen requires focus to ensure everything is cooked safely and efficiently.

🥣Good Food and Great Conversations

By afternoon, it was time to refuel. I enjoyed a solid plate of white rice topped with a thick, savory tomato and pepper stew. But the highlight of my meals was definitely the nice fried chicken on top, I believe you know what the season gives, so we needed to enjoy a little.

While eating, I spent some time with one of our tenant, he was drinking the hot so he was the one who bought the other mineral you are seeing right there on the table. We sat on our blue plastic chairs, sharing stories and enjoying the breeze. These moments of "gist" and relaxation are what make the day move faster.

❤️ Family: My Biggest Motivation

The best part of my afternoon was playing with my little ones, the came to visit us and also celebrate the December with us. I took some selfies with the kids in the compound. Look at their beautiful hairstyles and bright smiles! One of the girls has her hair adorned with colorful beads, and the other has beautiful golden-brown twists. Seeing their happiness reminds me why I work so hard, to build a future where they can always smile like this. So I was so happy to have them in our house.

📈 Investing in My Future: The Power Up

To wrap up this productive day, I sat down to do some "digital work." I looked at my Steemit wallet and saw that I had 18.190 STEEM liquid. Instead of spending it, I decided to "Power Up."

By converting these tokens to Steem Power (SP), I am making my account stronger. It means I have a bigger "voice" on the platform, and my upvotes will now be worth more when I support other creators.
