The diary game:9/6/26 Going to the hospital and cooking day
Whatsup guys! It's your favorite girl @desirechi. I woke up as early as 6:30am and I prayed and did my morning devotion. After that I went to brush my mouth then I washed my plate I used to eat yesterday night. The next thing I did was to bring out my scrub for work because I am on clinical experience here in port Harcourt.

So I didn't have breakfast because every Tuesday is my covenant day with God so I observe fasting and prayer for some hours and asked God for my private intentions. Then I went to buy bread and beverage from a nearby shop because that is what I will use to break my fast. After buying the bread and beverages, I peeled potatoes and fried it because that's what I will eat when I come back from work and I was on afternoon shift and I might not have strength to cook when I come back from work.

After frying the potatoes, I went to take my bath, I prayed by 9am because I was still fasting then I saw a movie and took a nap for about 45 minutes. I set my alarm to 11:45am so that I will wake up, pray, break my fast and eat my food then go for afternoon shift in the hospital. After that I took a shower to look refreshed because I just woke up from sleep.
After eating my food, I wore my scrub and headed for the hospital. I quickly rushed to the hospital because I was a bit late but on getting there, they were not doing anything serious in the ward so I greeted few of my coursemates, sat down and relaxed a bit. Then I observed the hospital environment and noticed that two other schools came to join my school in the psychiatric hospital for clinical experience.

Well, to be honest to be a psychiatric nurse is not for the weak, it requires courage, strength, resilience, patience and observation. Sometimes it involves risking your life because the patient can be violent. So for you to be a psychiatric nurse, you must possess the above qualities and also guard your mental health to avoid ending up as a psychiatric patient.
If you ask me to specialize in psychiatric field, I can't because it requires a lot of risks and I don't think I can cope with it and living my normal life as a human being. I'm just getting the experience to guide my mental health and cope with stress in everyday life. I and my coursemates gave the out patients injection to manage their mental illness and to prevent it from getting worse.
So the afternoon shift ended by 4pm and I went back to hostel to freshen up and eat (potatoes) because jeez I was very famished. After that I observed my siesta for about 1 hour then went to my friends hostel to see them. Then we all went to stroll out a bit to take some fresh air and stretch our legs. Then I came back to see another movie. So that's how day went guys. Thank you all for reading 😊 bye.
