Accompanying my wife to shop for our small shop's needs
Tonight, I accompanied my wife shopping for groceries for our small shop at the traditional market near Simpang Rangkaya. This activity has become part of our routine as a couple trying to manage a small business to provide for our family. While seemingly simple, moments like this always bring a sense of togetherness and encouragement to keep going.
After performing the Maghrib prayer, I arrived at the market, and the bustling atmosphere was immediately palpable. Vendors were displaying their wares, customers were milling about, and the sounds of bargaining could be heard from every corner. My wife and I walked through the aisles, jotting down items we needed to stock our stalls with. These included kitchen necessities, food ingredients, and even daily necessities that our loyal customers frequently sought.
Accompanying my wife shopping gives me the opportunity to witness firsthand the small struggles we go through together. She carefully selects items, compares prices, and ensures the quality remains good. I help carry the groceries and also discuss the costs to ensure our expenses stay within our budget. Everything is done with great care, as a small business like a food stall requires careful management.
The Simpang Rangkaya traditional market is unique in that it offers relatively affordable prices and a strong sense of camaraderie among vendors and shoppers. Many of the vendors are already familiar, so we often engage in casual conversation between transactions. This makes shopping less tiring and more enjoyable.

Amidst the bustle of the market, I realized that this simple activity holds so much meaning. Walking side by side with my wife, helping each other, and sharing the same goal of growing our small shop, gave me a deep sense of gratitude. Our business may not be large, but every small step we take is an effort for our family's future.
After all our needs were met, we prepared to head home with a substantial amount of groceries. Although we were tired, we felt relieved and happy. I hoped our little shop would be a witness to our struggles as a couple, supporting each other through every situation.

Thanks you
