Free health services in villages are a significant form of community service. Today, I experienced this benefit firsthand when I took my little daughter to the Kemilau Integrated Health Service (Posyandu) in Gampong Blang. Since morning, the area around the Posyandu has been bustling with activity. Parents have been bringing their children, while Posyandu cadres have been swiftly preparing various health checkup supplies.

I feel grateful to be able to take my little daughter to this integrated health post (Posyandu). There, she receives routine checkups, including weight checks and growth and development monitoring. The Posyandu staff and cadres provide patient and friendly service, making the children feel comfortable, even if some are fussy. As a parent, this provides a sense of peace of mind, knowing that your child's health can be properly monitored from an early age.

Not only my children, but I also saw senior citizens attending to take advantage of this free healthcare service. Some were having their blood pressure and blood sugar checked. This sight was very touching, as it demonstrated that village healthcare services are not only focused on infants but also on the health of the elderly. The seniors appeared enthusiastic and patiently waited their turn, engaging in casual conversation with fellow villagers.

This integrated health post (Posyandu) activity brings together generations in one caring space. Children, parents, and the elderly all receive the health care they need. This reflects the spirit of mutual cooperation and togetherness that remains very strong in our village, Gampong Blang. The Posyandu cadres, health workers, and village officials work together effectively to ensure all activities run smoothly and orderly.

Free healthcare services like this are incredibly helpful to the community, especially those with limited access or financial resources. With the integrated health post (Posyandu), village residents can more easily monitor their health regularly without having to travel far to other healthcare facilities. Furthermore, this activity serves as a means of educating the community about the importance of maintaining good health from an early age.

At the end of the activity, I returned home feeling relieved and grateful. My daughter received excellent care, and I witnessed firsthand how the integrated health post (Posyandu) is a vital part of village life. I hope the free healthcare services in our village, Gampong Blang, will continue and continue to benefit all residents, from children to the elderly.
