GROWTH IS A PRODUCT OF PURPOSE, NOT LOCATION

Location is a problem to growth

Greetings to all my Steemians. Today, a picture motivated and inspired me to keep moving, keep trying, keep working, and not give up until I am fulfilled.

Looking at the picture of the plantain, carried away from where it was planted by erosion to an unknown place, yet the new ground or location didn't stop the stump from producing at its time. This plant has its own season to produce suckers that would grow to bear fruit. Even when it was uprooted, the season to bear came, it bare.

I met someone a few weeks ago who told me that he put two million (2 million) naira into a restaurant business last year, and it failed. I asked him “what could be the cause?” He narrated that people began to compete with his business, and he decided with the wife to fold up.

It can happen when you might not have taken time to know the area or not be able to give what is better than others. Any location where what you are doing is succeeding means that you can succeed, and others not succeeding does not mean that success is impossible. We must grow where we are planted. Take your time looking for the right plug and be consistent with what you do.

This is a cost to success in every location, and one must sit down and count more than hasty decisions that may amount to failure. Your growth should be intentional, not on trial and error, not on the ground that “if it works, I take of it, doesn't I take”

Luke 14:28 “For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?” (KJV)

This biblical allusion teaches that success is not what you wake up into but the vision, mission, cross, and pain that you sleep with every night in order to give birth to success.

1. Every location you find yourself for a long time has what it takes to facilitate your growth.
2. Grow your kind, not copyright.
3. Be purposeful.
4. Take advantage of opportunities.
5. Study and wait for your season.
6. If you are doing business, apply the SWOT analysis in every location.

Growth is a decision, if you wish to you can if you don't wish to you can't.
