2025 has been a rollercoaster ride for me. I went through some good as well as some bad times this year. Very early in the year, the long-awaited snowfall occurred, and it brought joy to the farmers as we anticipated a good farming year ahead. Spring ushered in with a good rise in temperature and the farming cycle started. We were quite enthusiastic about raising our crops well throughout the year. The orchards were full of blossoms, which gave us hope for a good crop as a result of our efforts in farming. Spring also came with good precipitation, but it was at the end of the spring season that we lost hope. Most of the blossoms did not bear any fruits and only very few fruits had just started developing, but still we did not lose hope.

In the month of May, my brother got married and it was a time of joy for all of us, he being the eldest one in the whole family and among our cousins as well. The summer had very little rainfall, which affected drinking water facilities and strawberry areas also, and because of that we had to suffer a lot. Maintaining the quality of the crop through the summer was quite easy because there were no traces of any pests affecting the crop. In late summer, a few of my friends got married and those were again occasions of joy. Earlier this year, my favourite boss was transferred and it was actually a moment I never wanted in my life, but again it is something inevitable in the government machinery and system we have.

Four of my friends got married this year, and it was a pleasure to be with them in their happy times. These moments will remain vivid throughout our lives and have become some sweet memories for us. 2025 will be a year of memories that we would love to recall throughout our lives.

In the autumn season, when it was time to harvest our crop and send it for selling, it did not bring huge returns for us, and all of our efforts that we had made throughout the year to raise our crop well went in vain. We did not lose hope, but we are fully committed to rising again against all odds. Unfortunately for us, the season remained more or less dry because of very little or no precipitation from late summer till autumn, and it has remained dry till now. It has huge implications and affects our life in a direct or indirect way. We are more or less dependent on the horticulture and agriculture sector, and also the tourism sector, which again is dependent on precipitation. Less precipitation turns the green plains into dull brownish ones, which actually does not attract people, and we have seen such things happening in the past.

For me, my year on Steemit was quite a good one because I got a rhythm here. Earlier, I used to post in a very irregular manner, posting for some days and then being off for some other days, which did not help me much. But in 2025, I was active on Steemit right from day one and throughout. I did not miss any opportunities or days without posting content, and as I am fully committed to powering up all my earnings, I did not cash out anything. No doubt, I do not earn much, but whatever I earn is hard-earned, and I am looking forward to doing some more powering up till I have considerable power in my wallet and a good influence on the platform.

At the end of the year, the meteorological department predicted some rain or maybe snowfall in some areas, and we hoped for a surprise on the last day of the year, but again it turned out to be only a prediction without anything substantial on the ground. When I woke up on the first day of 2026, it was all dry, with just a few drops of rainwater sparkling over the dry grass of my lawn. It again turned out to be only anticipation and nothing else. Anyway, that is life. It does not go smoothly all the time; it goes through such bumpy rides and is actually enjoyed only then. If these bumpy rides are not there, life will not have any spice.

Having no complaints from the year, we bid farewell to the beautiful year 2025 that is never going to come again.

Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
