When Nature Freezes, Humanity Must Warm It
This earth is quite beautiful, and every creature and every object that has been placed here by the Almighty has its own essence, with either a tangible, intangible, or conspicuous role in making it a beautiful place to live in. Every entity present on this earth has a purpose, and it hardly matters whether humans understand it or not. The earth is like a machine, and every entity is a part of it; any damage to even a single part can lead to overall inefficiency and dysfunction. Keeping this in mind, a man must always take care of everything around him without worrying about the outcomes. Being the most intellectual creature on this planet, we need to behave accordingly, prove our intellect, and take care of everything else around us.
Today, I’ll be talking about the cats that keep roaming around our houses, showing great affection towards humans and living in and around our habitations. These cats are among the most passionate and warm animals — this is my experience. I have seen my cat waiting for me and wagging her tail whenever I am around; it is her way of showing love. Whenever she’s hungry, she comes to me and makes sounds that I now recognise. During the harsh winter, when the whole land area of our locality is covered with snow, we need to take care of these animals who hardly get anything to eat otherwise. Taking care of these animals has its own reward with the Almighty, and whenever we get such an opportunity, we must hold it strong. Not only does it help us understand the value of life, but it also makes us aware of how one act can make a difference. These cats bring happiness into our lives, and the same is true for other animals as well.
It’s not only about cats. Even birds face challenges in finding food when the whole valley is covered with snow, and we need to take care of them too. Each one of us must try to feed grains to these birds. Not only will it bring reward from the Almighty, but it will also help us realise how compassionate one must be, and how easy it is to create a happier place to live in. Even stray dogs that roam around and rely only on the waste thrown out of our households or shops need to be fed during these winter days. Every household must keep some food outside to help these dogs survive. I have seen dogs give birth during the winter season, which makes survival even harder because they need food for themselves as well as their pups.
I believe in karma, and everything that goes around comes around. Whatever good we do, we receive rewards for it. We must not care about what others say, but always do whatever we can for the betterment of the lives of not only people but other creatures as well. It helps maintain balance within nature. As I already said, what goes around comes around, and whatever good deeds a human does, nature pays him back in some form. We must take care of these animals, whether pets or stray. We should feed them well through these winter days, at least to make their lives easier and to maintain balance within nature.
