Teaching Demonstration in GMRC | THE DIARY GAME | NOVEMBER 29,2024

Teaching how to teach is hard, but teaching what to teach is better.

We had a 5-day in service training after the 2nd quarter of the school year. In the 5th day we had the teaching demonstration. I was one of the demonstrator for the subject GOOD MORAL AND RIGHT CONDUCT or the GMRC. It is a subject of teaching values to the children.

Assuming that my listeners are grade 1 pupils. I am teaching using the strategies fit to their age. I prepared interactive activities fit in the topic SINCERITY IN FRIENDSHIP. One of the strategies I used is the scavengers hunt.

I have given 45 minutes in the whole subject. I finished my demonstrations within 40 minutes.

After the demonstration, we have given certificates of appreciation. We are 3 demonstrators for the in service training.
