The Diary Game: I returned to my small farm today and did some harvest (23/06/2026)
me at the farm today
I went back to my small farm today after some days. it gives me joy anytime I visit my farm, it brings back the lost memory I had while growing up in the village. I feel the natural environment and plants I once grew up caring for in the village years back. I feel like am home again and it add a lot of joy to my life.
corn eaten by the squirrel
While going through the various plants and vegetable in the small farm I noticed something strange. I looked at some of the corn on the farm that are almost matured and I saw a wound in them. when I went closer I noticed squirrels have been eating the corn before me. I felt so bad and amazed at the same time. I have not experienced this before, I don't know if it's because of the hardship in the country that made this squirrels to eat my corn instead of other things they eat. please if anyone have idea of what I can do to prevent this please help me in the comment section.
my yam looking for stick to climb
I also checked on my yam and unfortunately the yams are begging for help to put stick for them to climb and start growing tall. but my challange here has been to see someone who will get me some bamboo stick and I'm ready to pay for it to enable my yams grow tall and give me a good tubbers at the end of the farming season.
my bitter leaf
Meanwhile I didn't forget to check on my bitter leaf I planted because it's one of my best leaf for soup making. I love bitter leaf to the point that I can eat it for straight one week without getting tired of the soup. but my issue here is that I don't have who will prepare it for me at the moment because I'm still single, the soup takes time to be prepared.
my small water leaf bed
When I went to the section where I did my water leaf bed, it's doing well but I noticed people around the place always come to take it without my notice. I guess because I leave a bit far from the environment, at the same time I felt happy seeing all this things I planted doing very well. I came home and feel like moving closer to this my small farm. I feel relaxed and happy anytime I visit the farm I don't know if it also happen to anyone out there.
the corn I came back with
I came back with some corn to eat the fruit of my labour. I thank God for successful planting and harvest of this corn, I feel like sharing it with my mentor @megareigns but he is far from me.
the cooked corn
I cooked the corn and ate it without paying anyone, not like the ones I buy costly here just to eat corn. I'm so happy today for harvesting what I planted with my own hands. thank you all for sharing my day with me.
