The diary game: [25/06/2026] A slow day, and full stomach

Hello guys, Good evening. How are you doing today?

It’s a beautiful evening again, and I want to tell you about my day. But first, I have a question for you before I start:

Are you currently watching the World Cup?
Which team do you think will win, based on what they have played so far? For me, I think France are strong contenders. They have a sharp and very fast front line with players like Olise, Mbappé and Dembélé. These guys are really fast and clinical. They also have a good midfield with experienced players like Kanté, which is a big plus.

So, about my day...
Today started like every other day, but a little slower. I slept without light yesterday, so I couldn’t charge my phone. I had to use my power bank in the morning while waiting for light. It wasn’t long before NEPA brought the light, so I plugged my phone and power bank, then slept a little more since I wasn’t going to work today. I slept so my phone could charge and I could also get some rest as part of my day-off package 😂

I slept for another 3 hours. When I woke up, my phone was full. I unplugged it and went straight to the bathroom to wash up and brush my teeth. I got ready for breakfast and wanted something different today, so I prepared fried chips and eggs. It’s one of my favorites, although it’s time consuming because you have to peel the Irish potatoes, which is my fear. I don’t like peeling it, but I have to if I really want to eat it. I prepared it within a few minutes, it was ready, I ate, washed the plates I used, and cleaned the kitchen.

After that I had my bath and sat on my bed. I went online to check what was happening. These days Facebook has become boring for me, so I now prefer X or TikTok where I see savage posts and replies 😂 I’ll be honest with you, Twitter people are crazy 🤣 I just read crazy replies and laugh all day. Then for TikTok, I love seeing all their trending challenges dance, games, a whole lot. I’m planning on starting my own content creation too, I just need a good phone. I love creating happiness 😊 And I won’t forget the part that social media pays a lot, so why not? I must get my own share of the national cake right 🤣 Social media money, especially X Elon Musk pays a lot and on time. The world’s richest man is capable 🤣 He just made history recently as the world’s first ever trillionaire, and it’s unbelievable. He can literally buy many countries and still have cash to run them. How can one man have that kind of money? The world’s total population is just 8.1 billion, and someone has a trillion dollars. That’s crazy, you know.

So after my small vibes online, I slept again for a while. When I woke up it was 3pm and I was so hungry, so I ordered rice and meat Jollof rice, one of my favorites. I got it from my favorite kitchen, Mummy Joe’s Kitchen. It was delivered to me at home. If you’re in Jos, you should try Mummy Joe’s Kitchen. They are really trying, and I can tell you for free, they are the best around here.

Lunch.

After my meal, I went for a stroll. I’ve been battling mosquitoes and insects in my room, so I decided to fumigate my room with insecticide so I can at least have a peaceful night. After that I went out. It was a long stroll. On my way, I decided to go watch ball, so I went to the football pitch where they play local football. It was interesting. Since I got here, I have never gone to watch them play, and honestly it was amazing. Jos has amazing talents not just in football, but in music, comedy, content, a lot of things. The only problem is that the entertainment market here is very poor. They hardly go viral or get promoted to the limelight. They hardly help themselves. Everybody wants to blow alone, which is hardly possible. There’s no collaboration, just pride and envy. Only a few do the collaboration thing, the rest are just there. But honestly, they have huge potential, I won’t lie, and I like them a lot. They just need more light to explore.

I watched them play for a while, and it was getting cloudy as if rain wanted to fall. So I decided to go back home so I wouldn’t get wet on the way. I was fast and I reached home ASAP. I washed my legs before climbing my bed. I locked my doors and windows, and before long it was already raining. It was a beautiful moment to sleep 😂 I gladly honored it, slept again for a while, and woke up now at 10pm to tell you guys about my day and also hear your opinion about the World Cup.
