The diary game: [28/06/2026] Sunday vibes.
Hello guys, How are you all doing? Happy Sunday. Hope you had a beautiful Sunday because I did. And guess what it was wonderful and beautiful. You know Sundays are just Monday’s junior brother. It feels like a few seconds to it.
For those that work under people or for another organization, it’s another Monday to go face your ugly-faced boss 😂 and listen to all his shouting 😂.
Anyways, for me that is self-employed, I’m not worried about what day tomorrow is because I run my show. But don’t worry, I will be working tomorrow 😂 money must be made. Or I might just decide to sleep again and let my workers do the work, either way.
So my day started with me washing my face and getting ready for church. I was quick about it because I was almost late for Sunday Mass, so I didn’t have time to do much. I went straight to prepare, took my bath, and zoomed off to church. On arrival I was 20 minutes late, but it’s better than not coming at all. So I stayed outside a bit until the gospel reading was over, then I went in and spent about an hour. Then the Mass was over and I didn’t waste much time there. I went home.
On reaching home, my gate refused to open. That gate has been giving us issues in the compound, honestly I’m fed up with this drama. Every day you’ll be in a hurry or late to somewhere, but you can’t open the gate except someone from inside comes to help you open it. From outside it’s a different ballgame, honestly, and it’s frustrating.
I didn’t know what else to do. After standing long and trying, I was so, so hungry and tired. Thankfully my neighbor came and opened the gate. She was going to get something outside, so luckily I was waiting too. I went in straight to the bathroom to ease myself because I was pressed.
After that I went to the kitchen to make food. I was craving pap and akara, but I couldn’t make akara that morning so I went to buy already made ones instead. It wasn’t far from my place, so I went and got it for ₦500.
So I went back and prepared the pap, cut some watermelon to a different side of the tray to step it down, then boiled egg for morning protein. The pap was thick, just the way I want it. So I served myself and had my breakfast very hot 🥵
After eating I went to bath, then straight to lie down and rest my head a bit. From there I slept off for a while. Waking up, I remembered I had no gas anymore, so I decided to go get some. I took my cylinder and headed off.
Guys, this country is moving really bad. I got gas at ₦2,200 per kg I nearly cried. The last time I got gas was 3 weeks ago and it was ₦1,300. How come it’s now ₦2,200? That’s unfair, honestly. This APC government is not favoring the common man. I just don’t feel good and safe here anymore.
My plan was to get 2kg, but hearing the price I couldn’t. I just got 1kg. I was complaining to the cashier when she told me it was around ₦3k as of last week, that I’m lucky. I was just exhausted hearing this. I took my gas home angrily, but it’s fine.
When I got home I decided to make lunch. I quickly prepared rice and stew for lunch. Guys, it was delicious I enjoyed it. I love stew, I told you guys, remember. So I had my lunch and was on my phone all through.
Then this evening my friend brought gote for me for dinner, so that was what I ate for dinner.
Now I’m here telling you all about my day, and also to tell you all that life is beautiful with family.
Good night, people.
Don’t forget to drink enough water and have enough rest.
Any day above ground level is a good day.
